FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is your minimum order?

Wholesale starts with pilot batches from about 1 kg and scales to palletized volumes and annual supply contracts, depending on grade.

Can I request samples?

Yes — approved business accounts can request samples of any grade before ordering.

Where is your matcha from?

Certified organic tea gardens and cooperatives in Japan — Shizuoka, Hiroshima and Uji — imported directly.

What documentation do you provide?

Certificate of Analysis and TDS per batch, heavy-metal, pesticide and microbiological reports, organic certificate and full import paperwork.

Do you test for radioactivity?

Yes. Every batch imported from Japan is tested for Cesium-134 and Cesium-137 to meet EU food-import safety standards.

What is the difference between Ceremonial and Barista/Industrial grade?

Ceremonial comes from the youngest first-flush leaves — sweeter and umami-rich, for drinking. Barista (mid-summer) and Industrial (autumn) have a stronger tea character that pairs well with milk, sugar and baking.

Can you ship to any EU country?

Yes. We handle the import from Japan and deliver EU-wide in 10–14 days (EXW Sofia). Intra-community supplies are VAT-exempt where applicable (Art. 138).

Do you offer private label?

Yes — from unlabelled bulk to fully branded, retail-ready packaging.
